Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required, demonstrating strong organisational skills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction. Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in English, fostering a collaborative team environment. Utilise IT systems for record keeping and appointment management efficiently.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or equivalent experience. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members confidently. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of practice. Ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times. Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
