Belmont Orthodontic Centre is the longest established orthodontic practice in Shrewsbury offering both NHS and Private treatments. Located in the heart of Shrewsbury Town Centre, our staff can enjoy the spacious practice facilities or head out into the centre of town at lunchtime.

This is a rare opportunity for a further motivated Dental Nurse to join our supportive and welcoming team who are committed to excellence in orthodontics and passionate about creating confident smiles in a relaxed and professional setting.

Valid GDC registration is required.

Previous experience in Orthodontic Nursing not required (none of the current dental nursing staff had worked in an orthodontic setting before joining us).

Duties include;

Clinical assistance for the Orthodontist/Orthodontic Therapists

Adhering to practice procedures for cross infection control.

Face to face patient communication

Following completion of the appropriate training you will have the opportunity to deliver your own records (and later OHI) clinics.

Numerous fully funded training opportunities from the start to include; Dental Nurse Radiography qualification, Digital Scanning, impression taking, OHI/Fluoride application, Orthodontic Nursing and ultimately (for a suitable candidate), the option of pursuing training in orthodontic therapy will be provided.
