Job Role:

Provide clinical chairside assistance to the orthodontist/therapist/dentist including dental restorations, extractions, etc Sterilising instruments Managing stock within the surgeries Ensure daily checklist jobs are completed after each session in surgeries Make sure patient records are up to date Always keep a high standard of infection control in surgery and decontamination rooms. Able to perform reception duties to a high quality to ensure patient satisfaction Assist throughout the practice and perform such other tasks as reasonably requested by the Principle.

Essential:

Must have great communication skills Must have knowledge of CQC protocols and HTM01-05 Must have excellent patient care Must be able to work as part of a team Have 2 up to date references Be well presented

Desired:

Fully qualified with valid GDC registration is preferred. However, a trainee dental nurse would be considered if they have previous experience. Radiography and impression taking qualifications is an advantage Good knowledge of the up to date protocols

Monday: 8:05 - 13:15/14:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunchbreak)
Tuesday: 8:05 - 13:15/14:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunchbreak)
Wednesday: 8:05 - 13:15/14:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunchbreak)
Thursday: 8:05 - 13:15/14:00 - 17:00 (45-minute lunchbreak)
Friday: 8:05 - 16:00 (30-minute lunchbreak)

We are a modernised practice with air conditioning in all surgeries and waiting rooms, on site parking is available to staff and patients. The practice has use of a CBCT and an intra oral scanner. Uniform is provided to all staff.
