An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Dental Nurse to join Cathedral Dental Practice. We are a friendly private practice looking for a caring, confident qualified Dental nurse to join our team or a trainee nurse currently involved in completing their nursing diploma. The company is looking for a Dental Nurse, with exceptional communication skills and a personable approach to patients. The role is full-time Monday- Thursday 33 hours a week.

Working hours would be:

Monday - 8.15am - 5:30pm

Tuesday - 8:15am - 5:30pm

Wednesday - 8:15am - 5:.30pm

Thursday - 8:15am - 5:30pm

Salary: 12.21- 14.50 DOE

As a Dental Nurse your responsibilities will be:

Set-up and prepare the surgery for the type of patient and treatment planned before the start of each session and preparing patients for treatment. Prepare the necessary materials and instruments Sterilisation procedures. Decontamination procedures. Undertake necessary start up and end of day tests, keeping all necessary recordings in accordance with HTM 01-05 guidelines Check patients medical history information is up to date
To be a successful Dental Nurse you will have the following skills and experience:

Experience with Software of Excellence but not essential. Must be GDC registered. Familiar with CQC requirements. Good level of IT skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent care delivery and customer service skills.
