We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organised environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing information on procedures and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up reminders for patients.
Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Support administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and IT-related duties.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is essential.
Experience with Dental Implants is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Familiarity with dental software systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
