About the Role
This is a
varied and rewarding role
, supporting both general and specialist dental treatments in a
modern and friendly
setting. You will work closely with our experienced clinical team, assisting in a wide range of procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll work alongside our experienced clinical team, assisting in a range of procedures including:
Dental implants, bone augmentation, and extractions
Endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, and advanced restorative dentistry
GBT hygiene treatments using the latest hygiene technology
Provide
excellent patient care
by:
Reassuring patients and helping them feel comfortable
Clearly explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and medical histories, using IT systems efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and
HTM 01-05
standards, including the sterilisation of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area.
Manage appointment schedules and coordinate patient flow to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the practice.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall success of the clinic.

Organised, motivated, and confident in both independent and team work
Empathetic with excellent communication skills
Adaptable and open to ongoing learning and development
Requirements:
Dental Nursing Qualification
GDC Registration
Radiography Qualification
High level of computer/IT literacy
Experience with SOE Exact program.
Experience in private practice is desirable but not essential
Specialist dental experience is a plus, but not required
Strong patient care skills
, with a focus on empathy, reassurance, and understanding.
Excellent communication skills
, both verbal and written, to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
IT literacy, including the ability to manage patient records and use dental software systems effectively. Experience with the SOE Exact program is preferred but not required.
Strong organisational skills
with the ability to multitask, prioritise responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
