We are a Specialist Orthodontic Practice and as such consultations and treatments involve no invasive procedures. Orthodontic adjustment appointments are relatively fast at an average of 10-20 minutes and pain-free for the patient. Stewart House prides itself in providing individual attention, care and time to each patient. We are a small practice with one highly skilled Specialist Orthodontist supported by qualified Dental Assistants.
We are looking for a qualified Dental Assistant/Receptionist who is professional, friendly and has good attention to detail. Responsibilities include chairside assisting, managing instrument flow and sterilisation, ordering clinical supplies and reception duties.
This role is for two to two and a half days a week, Monday or Friday will be the one and a half days and Tuesday is a required day. We will need you to cover for other staff on annual or personal leave as required. Occasional Saturdays will be required but no more than one per month (plenty of notice will be given). Stewart House prides itself in providing a good work/life balance and is very flexible in accommodating leave or supporting family commitments.
On-the-job training in Orthodontics will be provided to the successful applicant along with funding for a formal qualification in orthodontic nursing if the applicant would like to pursue further study
