Our team is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join us on this journey.
Purpose of the Role
As a Dental Nurse at Comiston Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing clinical team and ensuring the smooth running of our expanding practice. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, assisting our dentists with procedures, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Assist the clinical team with all aspects of dental procedures, ranging from routine care to advanced treatments (Implants, Endodontics, Oral Surgery).
Provide chairside assistance, including suctioning, passing instruments, and preparing materials.
Take accurate patient records and photographs.
Clinical Management:
Ensure the surgery is fully stocked and prepared for each appointment.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Manage lab work, including receiving and sending.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with the dental team to facilitate practice growth and provide the best possible patient care.
Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
