Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a GP setting. The Pharmacy Dispenser will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the overall operations of the pharmacy.

Duties



Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and legal requirements Assist patients with medication administration and provide relevant guidance on proper usage Support patient care initiatives by offering advice and answering queries related to medication and health concerns Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and update patient profiles accordingly Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including storage and handling of pharmaceuticals Manage stock levels, reorder supplies as necessary, and organise storage areas efficiently Participate in medication audits and quality assurance procedures to uphold high standards of service

Requirements



Proven pharmacy technician experience or relevant qualification recognised within the healthcare sector Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in dispensing processes Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear guidance to patients and team members Ability to work effectively within a team whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards Flexibility to work shifts as required, including occasional weekends or evenings if necessary

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.34 per hour

Expected hours: 23 per week
