Job Description

Big Dreams Nursery is an exceptional high quality nursery, where children are encouraged to dream big at every stage of their development.

The nursery is a purpose-built facility on one floor which boasts three playrooms, a large garden and an immersive sensory room. Still a fairly new setting (18 months old), our numbers have grown rapidly so we are now looking to take on more staff to join our team.

Our ethos at Big Dreams Nursery centres on confidence, communication and connection. Through a language-rich, play-based curriculum, children develop strong social and communication skills that support their wellbeing, learning and future success. We are looking for candidates who will fit in with our ethos and share the same dream.

This is an opportunity for Early Years Educators to join a growing nursery team and to work within a friendly environment where wellbeing and collaboration with the community are at the heart of the business.

The successful candidate will be part of a wider team of inspirational and dedicated early years professionals, able to access the support and networking opportunities we know are so important to continuous development and team work.

Working with their Room Leaders, Early Years Educators will fulfil any such duty that is required to meet children's individual needs and support the nursery's objectives.

Deliver the nursery's curriculum and provide the foundation that children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

Observe the requirements and standards set out within the curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe.

Adhere to, and role model best practice safeguarding requirements.

Provide professional and high quality customer service to families and other visitors to the setting.

To be successful at shortlisting, applicants must be able to demonstrate:



A full and relevant L2 or L3 Early Years Qualification or nursery experience

Good working knowledge of the EYFS

Good working knowledge of safeguarding requirements

Experience of working in a busy team environment

Experience of delivering high quality customer service

Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers, and an enhanced DBS check will be required. A certificate of good conduct may be required for applicants who have lived/worked overseas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.73-14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
