Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment tailored to the needs of children at various developmental stages
Manage classroom activities, including lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment of student progress
Support children with special educational needs through early intervention strategies and individualized support plans
Engage in behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and social interactions among children
Conduct assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable to monitor developmental milestones
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure cohesive support for each child's welfare and educational journey
Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as Montessori or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences
Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and communicate effectively with families about developmental updates
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
Certification as a Qualified Early Years Educator or equivalent credential in early childhood education
Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments
Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies
Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young learners
Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and child welfare standards
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
Experience working with standardized testing procedures and tutoring is advantageous
Knowledge of Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to fostering a nurturing learning environment
