Job Title: Qualified Early Years Educator

Duties:

1. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons for children in the early years.

2. Take the lead on planning one area of learning, which should be differentiated to meet the needs of all children.
3. Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
4. Provide individualised attention and support to each child's unique needs.
5. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
6. Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
7. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development.
8. Follow all safeguarding and health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children.

9: We are a pack away nursery and so you will need to be fit and well enough to set up the nursery and pack away at the end of the day. All furniture are on wheels and must be stored away at the end of each day.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSE level or equivalent.
2. Early Childhood Education Certification or relevant degree preferred Level 2 or 3.

3. Makaton or BSL qualification desirable.

Experience:

1. Previous experience working with young children.
2. Up to date knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and use good use of initiative.

6. Experience with working with SEN desirable.
