Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Applicants should possess experience with children, childcare qualifications, and strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest periods, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times. Foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with colleagues to develop programme improvements and share best practices in early childhood education. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones. Lead by example in maintaining high standards of behaviour, organisation, and professionalism within the nursery setting. Support the management team in implementing policies related to health & safety, safeguarding, and child protection.

Skills

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting. Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and early childhood development principles. Organised with the ability to plan engaging activities that cater to diverse learning needs. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Pay: Up to 32,000.00 per year
