Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational development of children aged 0-5 years. The Early Years Educator will work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Manage nursery behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. or wiling to undertake further child care qualifications. Experience in developing educational activities that promote children's learning through play. A valid driving licence is advantageous .
