We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. About us
Badsworth Nursery is a privately owned children's day nursery caring for 30 children aged 0 - 5. The day nursery has been established for 20 years and is in a purpose built fully enclosed nursery building. Our setting uses a variety of different educational theorist approaches and teaches using natural and loose part resources.
We are currently looking for an experienced member of staff to work between 30-40 hours per week, with a level 3 qualification in early years and has already had relevant Early Years day nursery experience. This will be a permanent post after a successful probationary period. We are an all year round setting and close for all bank holidays and a week over the Christmas period.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or higher required.
Passionate about early childhood development with a caring and nurturing attitude. This role is ideal for individuals committed to fostering young children's growth in a professional environment that values teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning.
Driving licence due to location of setting.

Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual needs.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, building positive relationships that enhance the learning experience.
Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education, providing leadership when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, ensuring all resources are safe and accessible.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or higher is required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
