Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of young learners. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development. Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to develop and maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery setting. Provide support in daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide young learners effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and their families. A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to inspire and motivate young minds through creative learning experiences.
