Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fully Qualified Electrician to join our team in Bromsgrove, covering the Worcestershire, Warwickshire and South Birmingham areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at both installation and maintenance tasks. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards while working in various environments, including Residential, Commercial and New Build.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or New Build settings. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes during all work activities. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as needed to complete projects efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Qualified Electrician, having served a full apprenticeship with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are essential.
