Job Description

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a qualified Electrician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

James Brothers Plumbing and Property Renovation LTD, covers all aspects of domestic electrical installations, with commercial work, solar panels and EVC being a bonus but not essential.

We are a family run business that prides itself on a professional, hardworking, client led company and working together part as a team.

Role and Responsibilities

-Carry out electrical installations and maintenance works, in domestic settings.
-Calculate quantities of materials required for jobs.
-Carry out works according to relevant safety standards.
-Have own tools and equipment.
-Test and inspect systems
-Document and report on jobs, iPad will be provided and software training given during induction.
-Fault find, diagnose problems, and find solutions.
-Complete legally required documentation.

Skills Required

-Experienced in domestic electrical installations.
-Inspection and testing of electrical installations.
-Experienced in single and three phase supplies.
-Self-motivated and hard working
-Good understanding of tools and equipment used in the electrical field
-Able to use own initiative
-Able to work to within deadlines and with minimum supervision

You will also be working with multiple trades to achieve renovation work.

A van will be provided, but your own tools will be required.

Call outs and weekend work are optional.

Full time hours: 40 per week

The successful candidate will need the following qualifications as well as a Full Driving Licence

City & Guilds 2391 / Equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations AM2 City & Guilds Level 3 Apprenticeship / Equivalent Electrical: 5 years (preferred)
