Job Description

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking 1 full-time skilled Electrician to join our team and carry out electrical installation works throughout the UK.

At South Rings Energy Ltd, our projects are mainly based around the government ECO (Energy Company Obligation) Scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for our installations of solar panels (including battery backup), air source heat pump systems, heating controls on combination, system and regular boilers, smart thermostats and TRV's, ventilation systems and general electrical installations. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with various power and hand tools.

You must have:

3 years electrical installation experience Strong understanding of electrical principles Adherence to recognised industry standards Willingness to adopt to flexible working hours, including occasional overnight stays, travelling outside of your home area Able to use your own initiative and work independently Be prepared to give onsite training to a high standard to an apprentice Good safe working practices. Ability to read and work with electrical drawings Excellent customer relation skills Excellent computer skills Able to attend the office in Bamber Bridge 1 day per week Able to keep accurate records and create electrical certificates.
Duties:

Installation of solar panel wiring (including battery) Installation of Air Source Heat Pump wiring Installation of various types of heating controls Upgrading/installation of boiler wiring and bonding to regulations Installation of ventilation comprising of dMev's and trickle vents Perform general electrical maintenance Ensure compliance with British standards and regulations Collaborate with contractors and construction workers on site
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Electrician and completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship to C&G L3 18th Edition Wiring Regulations C&G 2382-22 Part P Building Regulations RQF L3 Award in the installation and maintenance of heat pump systems from LCL awards or equivalent Solid understanding of electrical systems and wiring Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication abilities Proficient in using electrical and hand tools Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Full UK Driving License
