Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our well-established family-run company. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work well within a team, but also have the ability to work alone and alongside other trades. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Travelling to a variety of domestic and commercial sites across Yorkshire and adjoining counties completing:

Electrical installations 1st and 2nd fix rewires Planned and reactive electrical maintenance Emergency lighting Conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) Works on new domestic properties Commercial installs Office fit outs School works Maintenance of commercial properties, such as care homes Remedial works to ensure compliance with regulations Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients on-site

Requirements

Fully qualified Electrican holding all relevant qualifications (i.e. NVQ Level 3 and AM2 or equivalent) Apprentice trained 18th edition Test & inspection 2391 desirable but not essential Experience in EICRs and remedial work Knowledge of current electrical regulations Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Be able to work from site and kitchen drawings Full UK driving licence
