Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The Electrician will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical infrastructure, contributing to the smooth operation of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to diagnose faults accurately Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future problems Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics Ensure all work is completed safely, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently Document work performed and report any issues or concerns promptly Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to meet current standards

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industries Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc., as well as power tools including drills and saws Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring methods, circuit design, and safety regulations Valid qualifications or certifications relevant to electrical work (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Regs & 2391 Test & Inspect And AM2) Required Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-20.00 per hour
