About Us:

Little Explorers Eastry opened its doors in January 2025, is owned by two qualified teachers and managed by an experienced team who are passionate about giving children the very best start in life. We are now looking to expand our fabulous, nursery team and are currently recruiting for a full time nursery practitioner.

We care for children from 3 months to 11 years old, offering both nursery care and wraparound care for school-aged children. Our setting includes a fantastic building and an exciting outdoor space designed to inspire exploration, learning, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

Bring our curriculum to life through imaginative, creative, and child-led learning

Act as a key worker to a small group of children

Build strong partnerships with parents through regular feedback

Positively contribute to the culture and reputation of the nursery

Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including Safeguarding and Health & Safety

What We're Looking For:

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)

Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner

Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Understanding of safeguarding procedures

A genuine passion for working with children under 5

Experience with In The Moment Planning is preferable

Availability to work between the hours of 7:45am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (not all day, every day)
