Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of heating systems in Kent/Sussex/Surrey area (30 mile radius of Tunbridge Wells). Working with oil would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities

Maintain and repair heating systems, including boilers. Experience with Gas fires or Oil would be desirable but not essential. Attend to breakdowns, diagnosing the problem, and then quickly working to get the system working again. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to ensure systems are operating efficiently. Perform plumbing tasks related to general plumbing i.e. leaking taps, showers, W.Cs etc Maintain accurate records of work performed on our service system and materials used. Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role. Gas Safe Card & Oftec (if you are an oil engineer) Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Oil experience is advantageous but not essential but open to upskilling to OFTEC. A valid UK driving licence is required for travel between job sites. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
