Job Summary


The Nurse Practitioner 2/3 plays a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to children, focusing on early childhood education and development. This position requires a dedicated professional who can effectively communicate with both children and their families, manage healthcare needs, and demonstrate leadership within a nursery or childcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to support the health and wellbeing of young patients while fostering an environment conducive to their growth.

Duties



Develop and implement individualised care plans based on the needs of each child. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a thorough understanding of health issues and care strategies. Provide education to parents on childcare practices, nutrition, and early childhood development. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for children. Lead initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes within the nursery or childcare environment.

Experience



Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. A strong background in nursery or early childhood education is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children and adults alike. Proven leadership skills in managing teams or projects related to child healthcare or education. A solid understanding of childcare practices and the ability to manage various situations that may arise in a nursery environment. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
