Qualified Lunchtime Assistant At Ashbourne Day Nursery At Swanbourne
Job Description
We are looking for qualified early years practitioners to join us as Lunchtime Assistants to support the nursery over lunch periods Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm all year round.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Room Leaders and practitioners to provide high-quality care and supervision of children during lunchtime
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Support the team to implement age-appropriate activities
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about their child's day
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development EYFS principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
