Part time or full time positions available - Term time only
Our Pre-School children are aged from 2 - 4 years old and the Pre-School is open Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm.
Person Specification:
Experience in working with Pre-School aged children is preferred.
Have the ability to relate well to children, understanding their needs and being able to respond accordingly.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, confident and sociable and have the ability to transform from a teacher, a pirate, a train driver or a clown at any given moment!
Can use basic technology.
A good understanding of the English language both spoken and written.
Last but not least, be prepared to feel special and loved by many little people. There is no other job quite like it!
In order to meet the requirements of this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
To work alongside the whole staff team to provide a stimulating, caring and safe environment for Pre-School aged children.
To work with colleagues to enhance children's education and social development with special attention being paid to promoting positive behaviour.
A good knowledge of the EYFS and related documents/policies is preferable.
Undertake daily Pre-School duties to ensure high standards are maintained.
Establish relationships with parents/carers to ensure they are engaged in the child's development and education. Whilst being aware of families ethnic, cultural and linguistic development.
It is desirable, but not essential that applicants have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Early Years setting and a relevant childcare qualification at level 2 or 3.
