We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. This role involves administering intravenous therapies and medications, monitoring patient responses, and providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.

Duties

Administer intravenous infusions and medications as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, responses, and any changes in condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures in the administration of infusions. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care practices, particularly in infusion therapy. Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and patient monitoring. Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
