Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners. The ideal candidates will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Part time and full time applicants considered.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care and supervision for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their individual learning journeys. Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care, hygiene, and safety within the nursery environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education. Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play activities.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A minimum L2 Childcare qualification Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A genuine passion for childcare with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children.

Pay: 12.25-15.00 per hour
