Overview

Daintry Hall is an OFSTED Outstanding children's day nursery and Pre-School setting, caring and Educating children aged 3 months to school intake.

As a rural setting we have several large outdoor spaces including a wild area with the added opportunities to visit the local farms and do the country walks which we incorporate into our planning and Education with the children of all ages.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of each child.

Our full time position is worked over a part time role or full time between Monday to Friday doing either 7.30am -5.30pm or 8am until 6 pm.

We are closed on Bank Holidays and in between the Christmas and New Year period.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Assist in managing daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A nurturing approach with the ability to connect with children on their level. A commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of young children while working within a supportive team.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 27.75 - 37 per week
