We are now seeking a
dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
to join our dynamic team and contribute to maintaining our high standards of care and education.
Role Overview:
As a
Level 3 Practitioner
, you will play a key role in providing outstanding early years education and care to children aged 0-5 years. You'll plan engaging activities, observe children's progress, and work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure every child receives the best start in life.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting and age-appropriate activities in line with the
EYFS framework
.
Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment that supports all areas of children's learning and development.
Carry out regular observations, assessments, and planning to track children's progress.
Develop strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and carers.
Support children's emotional wellbeing, promoting independence and confidence.
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented learning environment.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement within the setting.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A
full and relevant Level 3 qualification
in Early Years Education / Childcare (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
At least
1 year of experience
working in an early years setting.
Strong understanding of the
EYFS framework
and child development principles.
Up-to-date knowledge of
safeguarding
,
child protection
, and
health & safety
procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
A valid
Enhanced DBS check
(or willingness to obtain one).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
