Level 2& 3 Nursery Practitioner

We're seeking a fantastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery in Blackheath! We take pride in our caring environment, providing a warm welcome to both children and staff.

Main Responsibilities:

- To report to both the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager.

- You will receive training to carry out all standard duties of Early Years Practitioners.

- Creating a safe and engaging environment at all times.

- Implementing a play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to support children in their development.

- Ensuring the nursery meets OFSTED requirements.

- Planning activities that support each child's progress towards early learning goals, aiming for continuous improvement.

- Acting as a key person for specific children.

- Maintaining close communication with parents/carer's, sharing information about the nursery's curriculum and children's development, and encouraging parental involvement.

- Complying with Policies & Procedures, the Children Act, Health & Safety legislation, and OFSTED guidelines.

Person Spec (Required):

An enhanced DBS check is required by My Childcare and Me before any appointment can be confirmed.
. Level 3 or 2 in Childcare
Fluent in Spoken & Written English.
2 years working in childcare minimum

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 28,000.00 per year
