Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. This position requires a nurturing individual who can create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of young children.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring they are age-appropriate and cater to individual needs. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times. Implement safeguarding policies and procedures to protect the welfare of all children in your care. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to a positive working atmosphere. Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare). Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable. Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents. Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. A passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a supportive environment. Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
