We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves providing high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, fostering their development and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's learning and development.
Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's needs.
Manage daily nursery routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere within the nursery.
Skills
Level 3 Diploma in Early Years
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
Excellent leadership skills to guide and support junior staff members.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices within the nursery environment.
A proactive drive to enhance children's learning experiences through creative play and structured activities.
