We are seeking a dedicated and passionate nursery practitioners to join our team. We are offering a part time role of working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position would be working across our in our under 2 year old rooms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves managing the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. The Nursery Practitioner will play a vital role in supporting children's development through engaging activities and effective communication with both children and parents.
Duties
Provide high-quality childcare in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured environment.
Communicate effectively with children to support their emotional and social development.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, sharing updates with parents as necessary.
Foster a positive relationship with parents, providing feedback on their child's experiences at the nursery.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Drive initiatives that promote leadership within the nursery team, encouraging collaboration among staff members.
Qualifications
/ Experience
A qualification in Early Childhood Education Level 2 or 3
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EYFS
Paediatric first aid training.
Previous safegaurding training
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings is an advantage.
