:

Dental nurse (Trainee or apprentice considered) required to join a family friendly dental surgery in the heart of Dorking, Surrey.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic dental nurse or trainee to join our growing team of dental nurses, hygienists, receptionists and dentists for 3-4 days a week (inclusive of Saturdays)

The Nurse / Trainee must already be registered on a recognised dental nursing course, and either mid training, or enrolled and prepared to start. You must be hepatitis B immunised to be able to work.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with reception tasks when required Maintaining clinical standards and paperwork for CQC compliance Assisting the dentist or hygienist during procedures Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment Developing dental x-rays Assisting with patient management and comfort Maintaining accurate patient records Keeping the surgery stocked and organised in line with patient treatments Keeping dental practice clean with routine cleaning Working reception and covering the reception desk

Requirements:

IF Trainee - To eventually obtain a Dental Nurse certification or relevant dental assisting experience Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Basic computer skills for record keeping
