We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development and learning through play and structured activities. we also have the opportunity to support an apprentice.
We are a rural setting so you would need access transport.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs.
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a positive environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma).
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide less experienced staff members where required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
