Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students in physical fitness, sports, and overall health. This role requires an individual who can effectively communicate with students, manage behaviour, and inspire a love for physical activity. The Physical Education Teacher will play a crucial role in promoting a healthy lifestyle among students while developing their skills in various sports.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical fitness and sportsmanship. Educate students on the importance of health, nutrition, and physical activity. Organise and lead sports coaching sessions to enhance students' skills in various sports. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment. Assess and evaluate students' performance and progress in physical education. Foster teamwork, cooperation, and respect among students during activities. Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Experience

A degree in Physical Education or a related field is preferred. Previous experience teaching physical education or coaching sports is advantageous. Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student assessments. Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. A solid understanding of behaviour management techniques within an educational setting. Ability to educate students effectively in English while promoting physical activity.
