Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial environments. Duties

Design, install, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with relevant regulations and standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools for various plumbing tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency. Conduct welding operations as necessary for pipe fittings and repairs. Perform assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures and systems. Carry out heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively. Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing designing new installations for water distribution and waste disposal in residential settings and some commercial settings. installation of heating systems with an understanding of the electrical aspects. Proven experience in plumbing or a related field is essential. Familiarity with welding techniques is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to plumbing work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems. Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations are required. Experience in carpentry is an advantage but not mandatory. A valid commercial driving licence is beneficial for transportation of materials as needed.
