You will be responsible for managing daily activities in the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care and education.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children. Manage daily operations within the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on progress. Lead activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as safeguarding policies. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of childcare services offered.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proven experience in childcare settings, particularly within nurseries. Leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff members. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to engage with children effectively and create a supportive learning environment. Experience working with young children, demonstrating patience and empathy.
