Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 or Equivalent)
We are seeking a
qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner
to join our Nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children.Essential Requirements
A
Level 3 Early Years qualification
(or equivalent) A strong understanding of theStatutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Sound knowledge ofsafeguarding and child protection
proceduresPurpose of the Role
To provide
high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care
for all children in the Nursery To effectively implement EYFS practice and provision in line with statutory requirements To ensure allsafeguarding and health & safety principles
are consistently upheldKey Responsibilities
Act as a
Key Person
, supporting individual children in line with Nursery policies and the EYFS Plan and implement thedaily routine
within allocated room(s) Work collaboratively as part of a team,leading and supporting colleagues
to develop their roles within the classroom Coordinate and provide guidance to other staff members within the Nursery Maintain asafe, secure, and nurturing environment
where all children are protected from harm Lead onaccurate and up-to-date record keeping
, including: Curriculum planning Children's Learning Journeys Accident and incident forms Sleep charts Daily record sheets Any other documentation required to support children's welfare, learning, and developmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Be
