Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader with experience leading babies and toddlers to join our team.

This role is pivotal in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring that all children receive high-quality care and education.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.

Duties

- Lead and manage the nursery room, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children.

- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play.

- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills.

- Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the nursery setting.

Experience

- A background in early childhood education is essential, with relevant qualifications preferred.

- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.

- A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.90 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
