Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our toddler room (The Infant Community). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily operations within our childcare setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents, and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily activities in the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained. Manage staff schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations. Drive the implementation of educational programmes that promote child development. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster a positive team environment by providing support and guidance to staff members. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement necessary interventions. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones.

Skills

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education settings. Strong leadership abilities with a knack for managing teams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to engage with children and understand their needs.
