We are seeking an experienced and UK-based Qualified Secondary School Tutor specialising in English, mathematics or science to join our team at AbiOnlineTeach. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering structured and engaging one-to-one online lessons to students aged 14 to 16, with a focus on English, maths, and science. Applicants must have relevant teaching qualifications and experience working with this age group, understanding the curriculum and exam requirements for GCSE-level students.
Duties
Teaching personalised, interactive, and engaging one-to-one lessons in English, maths, and science to secondary school students aged 14 to 16, using the AbiOnlineTeach method
Customising lessons to meet the unique needs of each student
Monitoring individual student progress and providing detailed feedback to parents on their child's development
Preparing lesson materials and incorporating creative activities to make learning enjoyable and effective
Collaborating with the AbiOnlineTeach team to ensure the highest quality of one-to-one lesson delivery and student engagement
Skills
Qualified secondary school teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in teaching English, maths, and science to students aged 14 to 16 in a one-to-one setting
Strong subject knowledge across English, maths, and science at GCSE level
Excellent communication skills for interacting with students and parents
Ability to create a fun, supportive, and engaging one-to-one online learning environment
Experience with online teaching tools and platforms
A passion for helping students excel in their GCSE studies and build confidence across core subjects
