We are looking for confident qualified senior childcare practitioners to manage rooms in our
Llanishen
nursery, people who are and always willing to go the extra mile.
The successful applicant will work 39 hours over 4 days. The setting is open 7.30-18.00.
Established in 2004, Daisy Day Nursery has grown from one 54-place nursery to three fantastic settings registered for 116 (Llanishen), 75 (Barry) and 96 (Barry wraparound and holiday care) children, offering the best environments for children to grow and learn.

Requirements:
MINIMUM CCPLD L3 (or equivalent) qualification.
Willing to do more training to enhance your skills.
3 years experience in an early years setting, preferably with some team leading experience.
Flexible and reliable with a "can do, will do" approach to your work - cheerful and enthusiastic.
Good organisational skills.
Able to do your job to a high standard with little supervision or intervention from management.
Friendly and welcoming approach to parents, colleagues and children.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support the team in your room to ensure all the children's physical, emotional and developmental needs are met.
Manage and support the team in your room to identify and accurately record children's developmental progress.
Manage and support the team in your room to carry out effective activity planning in line with nursery policies in order to provide the children with stimulating activities appropriate to their age and individual ability.
Manage and support the team in your room to maintain safe and clean surroundings at all times and follow health and safety and fire procedures.
