Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Assessment Team in Birmingham. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and families. As a member of our dynamic team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop intervention plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders to provide high-quality support and services.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of children and families in need of support.
Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Working collaboratively with other professionals, including health care providers, educators, and law enforcement.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national guidelines.
Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, MA Social Work).
Registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience in child protection and assessment work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to best practice standards.
