Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) specializing in Adult Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Nottinghamshire. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable adults. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding adults at risk, ensuring their well-being and protection in accordance with local policies and national legislation.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify safeguarding needs and risks.
Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and law enforcement.
Providing expert advice and guidance on safeguarding issues to colleagues and partner agencies.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with data protection regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups.
