Job Description

Join our dedicated team in Tamworth as a Qualified Social Worker in the Child Protection and Children in Need (CP/CIN) Team, with a competitive rate of 33.30 per hour. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our community. You will play a vital role in safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being while working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of children and families.
Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Engaging with families to build trusting relationships and promote positive outcomes.
Collaborating with other professionals, including schools, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to ensure comprehensive support.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Experience working within a CP/CIN team, demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities effectively.
