At Transport for Wales Rail Limited, we want proud and passionate people, who deliver excellent service every time.
Specifically, we are looking for people who:
Understand what our customers want and put customer service first
Always provide a safe working environment for our customers and staff
Are proud to wear their uniform and look smart every day
Remain motivated and enthusiastic to perform all aspects of their role to a high standard
Are conscientious and make timely decisions based on their knowledge of rules and procedures
Go above and beyond their normal working duties during times of disruption
Live within one hours drive of Holyhead depot
What else you need to know:
We're here for our customers whenever they need to travel, which means your shift lengths & patterns will vary - so you'll need to be flexible in your working hours.
Hours:
Working 4 days per week with an average of 35 hours per week.
Your shift pattern will include early starts/late finishes and weekends & Bank Holidays.
You must be a Qualified Train Driver with a proven safety record and live within an hour's drive of Holyhead station.

Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.
