As a Trainer at Mark One you will be a key member of our specialised training division delivering high quality training courses to our customers.

Mark One Training is an independent Essex based training provider that forms part of the Mark One Group.

With 6 depots, to include 2 training centres based across Essex, Mark One Hire and Mark One Training confidently provides its customers with plant, powered access, tool hire and leading safe access solutions for working at height, as well as professional training delivering a comprehensive range of training courses.

A fantastic career opportunity has arisen at Mark One for an experienced Instructor to join our already successful training business on a full-time basis.

In your role as a trainer, you will deliver high-quality training to both internal staff and external customers from across the Region. It would be our aim to provide you with further training in required areas so that you can become a fully trained member of our team and be able to deliver all our courses.

The salary for this role is negotiable and dependent upon your qualifications. The skill set that you bring to the business will also be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities:

Deliver training courses to delegates across the region, to include travel across our Essex based sites. Ensure all courses are carried out to the criteria required by external awarding bodies. Responsible for providing training at the required standards of the business and external bodies. Prepare and deliver training as required. Assist with any formal audits / verification as required. Assist with planning and arrangements as required. Undertake training assessments and complete documentation, within the relevant service level agreement. Maintain up to date and easily accessible training records. Compile and complete a record demonstrating a minimum of 30 hours Continuing Professional Development. Complete, store and handle all paperwork in line with GDPR requirements. Identify and promote best practice in training / assessment delivery. Proactively pursue opportunities for improvement and implement appropriate changes, securing relevant approvals and authority. To train and assess in accordance with Awarding Organisation standards and assist with other training and development activities as and when required.

Qualifications and skills that are required for this role:

AET (formally known as PTTLS Level 3 or equivalent) Driving Licence Excellent communication skills Flexible with travel Excellent presentation skills Excellent attention to detail
