Duties

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide chairside support to enhance patient comfort and care during treatments. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems effectively. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene instructions, and post-operative care. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure continuity of care for patients. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with dental practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Qualified or trainee Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or training. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and the dental team. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to providing a positive experience for all patients. Previous experience in a dental practice is desirable but not essential; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
